Schedule from your account
Log in with a NIP-07 browser extension or a NIP-46 remote signer, write your note, pick a time and sign. Your key never leaves your signer. Scheduled posts are listed in your account until they go out, and you can cancel any of them.
Schedule from code
Add ?publish_at=<unix time> to POST /api/event or /api/events. Set the event's created_at to the same time so clients show it at the right moment. The response is OK with scheduled: <time>.
Why schedule on nostr?
Post when your audience is awake, line up announcements and newsletters, or queue a thread while you're offline. Because each note is broadcast to every relay when it goes out, it's seen at once wherever people read.
Questions
How far ahead can I schedule?
Up to 30 days. A time in the past publishes right away.
Does cancelling give my limit back?
Yes. A scheduled event counts toward the daily limit of the day you schedule it, and cancelling it returns that slot.
Can blaastr change my scheduled note?
No. You sign the event when you schedule it; blaastr only holds and publishes the signed event.
